    • Raptor Trek- The Alabama 4-H Science School presents Alabama’s premier bird of prey experience. This program allows children and adults to experience and learn about a collection of Alabama’s native species of raptors through a conservation-based presentation. Meet our collection of nonreleasable raptors and learn about the circumstances that brought these avian educational ambassadors into our care and how people can take steps to help protect these native species.
      •  This program consists of 4 to 5 glove-trained birds of prey.
  • Herp Journey- Snakes, and gators, and turtles! Oh my! The Alabama 4-H Science School can bring you a program that allows children and adults to experience and learn about a collection of Alabama’s native reptiles and amphibians. This conservation driven program allows groups to get up close to some of the species that inhabit Alabama and other parts of the world.
    • This program consists of 5-6 reptiles.
  • Back to Natives- Join the Alabama 4-H Science School for their newest outreach program, Back to Natives. This program combines the Raptor Trek and Herp Journey where groups get an up-close view at both Alabama’s native reptile and raptor species.

  • Library Programs- The Alabama 4-H Science School can bring your library an exciting live animal program featuring the critters that call the Alabama 4-H Center home. This conservation-based program varies year to year and always correlates to the collaborative summer library program’s theme.
